Buying players for nought.

Bid for the player you want so high that the club immediately accepts the offer. Now adjust the offer down to zero and click on CANCEL. The player will now be moving to your club free of charge.

Quitting the game without saving.

This is useful when before a cup final/ important game you save the game and if the outcome isn't to your likening then just press * (Asterisk). Then you can reload the game and play that match again and again until you get the result yiou desire.

Getting great young stars.

At the end of the season scour the transfer market for big name star of past and present over the age of 35. Just before the game load for the close season bid for these players , some of them will retire (but not always) and in that players place you will get a young star player.

Becoming national manager at the start of the game.

At the start of the game select the national team of your choice and for the managers name type in the name of the national coach at the time the game was brought out. E.g. Terry Venables - England.

Screen grabbing.

If you want to impress your friends with your all conquering Championship Manager team but they think you lying to them just press shift and 7 (so you press the & key) then this will save the pictue in the game directory. The file you should for is mark.
